U.K. production on Matt Reeves' The Batman was resumed three days ago but then abruptly shut down because a crew member had tested positive for COVID-19.
Per Deadline, it is none other than the film's star, Robert Pattinson, who has contracted COVID-19. Warner Bros. officially released the following statement this morning:
“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”
A quarter of the movie has been filmed, according to Reeves.
