Chloe Bennet to Quake on 'S.W.O.R.D'?

The Inhumans may have temporarily left with a whimper, but they initially arrived with a Quake.

When Chloe Bennet's character, Daisy Johnson (or Skye, the fake name she was originally given), was unveiled as an Inhuman on ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it sent shockwaves throughout comicdom. Bennet became a fan favorite on the series with many fans anticipating her meeting the Royal Family of Inhumans. Alas, the Inhumans TV show that AOS spun off didn't feature Bennet at all and surprisingly had little connection from where it spawned. After one season, it was mercifully put down.

With the announcement of Nick Fury in a Disney+ TV series, questions have risen again about Bennet's involvement as AOS has ended after seven seasons.

When I initially scooped an Agents of S.W.O.R.D. show a year ago, I reported that Bennet was likely to return in this new program. I am hearing that Bennet is still expected to be brought back, but whether as a regular or recurring cast member, I don't know. Sources tell me that Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen are being discussed to return; however, they are tight-lipped about any present or future negotiations. Insiders add that Marvel Studios do intend on honoring the legacy of AOS and taking its cosmic adventures to a higher level, especially in terms of budget.
