Report: Jared Leto's Joker Joins 'Snyder Cut'

Written By Mikey Sutton • Editor-in-Chief • Owner

It's not a joke.

Jared Leto, who was the Joker in 2016's Suicide Squad, will return to play the character for new additional scenes in The Snyder Cut. Renamed Zack Snyder's Justice League, the four-part miniseries will air on HBO Max in 2021. Original producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg will have their credits removed as this will reflect director Snyder's complete vision without their supposed interference. Leto did not appear in the theatrical release of Justice League, which was finished by Joss Whedon after Snyder left or was fired depending on who you ask.

What this means in terms of Leto's future with the DCEU remains uncertain.
