Rumor: Two Will Compete to be Black Panther

Shuri might not be the only Black Panther in Black Panther 2, at least at first. This is according to YouTuber Grace Randolph, who claimed that there will be a male and female Black Panther.
Randolph explained that Winston Duke's M'Baku will take up the identity of Black Panther as does Letitia Wright as Shuri, who has to prove herself to earn the honor of bearing the title and wearing the costume.
Obviously, only one person can be Black Panther in the end. Quite frankly, Duke is a wonderful actor, a scene-stealer in the first movie, but I don't see him as having the charisma or sex appeal (this is Hollywood, after all) of the late Chadwick Boseman or Michael B. Jordan. And a man being more worthy than a woman is a message, however unintentional, is a message I don't think Disney will want to convey.
While I will refrain from being political, Wright being Black Panther taps into the national zeitgeist of a black woman as Vice President. Again, there's also the comics connection of Shuri as Black Panther that I wrote about before. The optics don't look good if she doesn't end up as Black Panther but M'Baku does.
I asked my sources about M'Baku and I received no confirmation that this scenario will play out in the film. I'm presenting this for you to decide.
