Scoop: 'Black Panther 2' Villain Possibly Revealed?

Black Panther might be fighting a White Tiger in his sequel.
When it was announced that Narcos: Mexico actor Tenoch Huerta had been cast as the villain in Black Panther 2, there were no hints on who he was playing.
Rumors of Namor had circulated for months, but I recently said that wouldn't be Namor because Kevin Feige wasn't going to transform a beloved Golden Age superhero - among Marvel Comics' first and future MCU superstar - into T'Challa's killer. Then, who?
A source told me that Marvel Studios was discussing White Tiger to be the main foe for T'Challa prior to Chadwick Boseman's passing.
In the comics, White Tiger is not a bad guy, especially in his original Latino incarnation as Hector Ayala. Another character, Kevin "Kasper" Cole, took the White Tiger identity in 2002.
Cole made his debut in Black Panther (Vol. 3) No. 50, stealing T'Challa's costume and then making a deal with Killmonger to acquire a synthetic version of the herbs that provide Black Panther with his powers.
With T'Challa gone, it would certainly make sense for a pretender to the throne, only to have Shuri prove who's the real deal now. The MCU likes to combine variations of their heroes and villains so a mix of Ayala and Cole wouldn't be out of the ordinary.
I don't usually run scoops without at least two more people confirming it; however, this seems plausible enough. If it turns out to be false, at least fans had something to contemplate until official word comes in.
