Scoop Confirmed?: Shuri to Become Next Black Panther

Letitia Wright could be getting close to becoming the next Black Panther.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that "Wright's character may take on a more prominent role" in Black Panther 2.
Allow me to break the fourth wall and tell you that is a discreet way of saying she will be elevated from a supporting to a starring role. Marvel Studios, like other film companies, time their announcements carefully; there's a marketing strategy to it all and contractual issues as well. Other sites will tread carefully and follow the corporate line. I don't care. I'm not nicknamed the fly in the ointment for nothing.
Officially, Wright is not Black Panther yet; that is, Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed it. That is why, again, I placed a question mark after "Scoop Confirmed?" in the headline. But the public usually doesn't know until months after the deal is complete for the reasons stated above.
I recently reported that Wright will be BP after months of speculation and gossip.
In an interview with Clarin, Marvel Studios EVP Victorio Alonso confirmed that T'Challa is dead in the MCU, which is what I had revealed prior in my article. Alonso explained that:
"Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction."
In other words, T'Challa will not be recast.
Black Panther 2 will start filming in Atlanta, GA in July for about six months.
